Overview

A full-stack recipe platform I built solo in Django. It was my first project owning both ends of the stack, from the database up to what a user actually sees.

Key Contributions

• Designed the data models, views, and URL routing that hold the app together end to end.
• Built user authentication and recipe search from scratch.
• Built the front end in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with no framework to lean on.
• Focused on making the experience feel intuitive, not just functional.

• Django's MVC pattern made full-stack development click for me. Seeing models, views, and URLs work together end to end was the first time it felt intuitive instead of memorized.
